• Gown with ivory satin skirt, wine panne velvet panels and bodice. Lace appliques with beadwork.
• Long removeable sleeves of wine panne velvet.
• Mitts of wine panne velvet with embroidery appliques.
• Headband of wine panne velvet with "yoyo" and embroidery appliques.


Embroidery appliques were done as free standing lace on my embroidery/sewing machine. Sequins and beads were added by hand. Lace around skirt is a gold metallic lace and then I added sequins and pearls to the design of the lace.

The gown has a satin skirt that goes longer in the back. The top of the lace ruffle is decorated with embroidered appliques. Each of the panels also has appliques with sequins. On the back of the bodice there is a pad with "yoyo" and flower applique.

Or, add the long removeable sleeves as shown in the picture at the top of this page.

Another look would be to use the mitts as shown below in the closeup picture. These have fancy embroidered appliques.

The bodice has been trimmed with more of the appliques with sequins.

The headband is wired so it can be shaped to fit.
