The Overskirt has long streamers in the back that have free standing lace appliques along with plum carnations and flower appliques.

The costume is designed so it has lots of accessories. Mix and match as you want.

Petticoat has crinoline ruffles to help give gown a nice shape.

The headpiece is made of plum panne velvet and is worn on the doll's head behind the crown. Below you can see the crown used without the headpiece.

Crown is free standing lace appliques, decorated with rhinestones, sequins and pearls. On each side are some dangles with plum crystal beads. On top is a large crystal bead and pearls.

Shoulder wrap and mitts are shown at left. More of the free standing lace appliques have been used on the wrap and mitts. Below is a view showing the collar which has an edge of pearls plus seed bead trim along the top and bottom edges. Fancy dangles on collar match the ones on the crown.

Here you can see views of the gown without the overskirt. A fancy free standing lace applique is on the front of the skirt. It has lots of sequins, beads, pearls added by hand to the design. See closeup of applique below.

The skirt is longer in back and has a sheer nylon tricot chiffon ruffle around the edge. This is topped by some silver metallic insertion lace--I have added sequins and seed beads to the design.

Above is a closeup of the embroidery design done on the overskirt. Carnation and lace leaves have been added in the center. Lots of sequins, beads and pearls worked into the design.

The white lace trim used to edge the overskirt is a fancy lace with pearls, seed beads and sequins hand worked into the design of the lace.

This is a very lavish costume fit for a Princess!!
